A Page Out of Our Book

So back in our post describing what Leftos Is, we mentioned that Leftos is a resource. We implied that this resource is broken down into 6 categories (single, dating, sex, relationships, marriage, and divorce). But that’s about as far as we went. Well, we’ve been working, like dogs, over the past couple weeks to build this index of topics.

On Leftos.com, this resource is referred to as “Topics”. Once you click on that page in our main navigation bar, you’ll be brought to the resource—the area of our site that lists all of the topics under each of the 6 categories. Once your there its simple; find a topic your interested in and click it.  There you can view all the related issues, and the opinions of users.

A little confused?

We realize that we just threw a bunch of terms at you, so to clear up any confusion here’s an example. Within our “Relationship” category we have the topic of “Starting a Relationship“. So here are the issues that users (both men and women) would voice their opinions on….

Starting a Relationship
-Overcoming a fear of commitment
-If you have doubts, should you not be in a relationship with them?
-Overcoming the fear of being hurt again
-What if you have different expectations?
-Keeping your past relationships from interfering with a new one
-What to consider when starting a relationship
-Why is it important to make a relationship “official”?

Heres another example from our “Dating” category….

The End of a Date
-Inviting them over after the date
-How should you ask for another date?
-How do you know if you should end the date with a kiss?
-What should you say at the end of a good date?
-Who should call after the date?
-What is the right amount of time to wait before calling?

These are just 2 examples–and for only 2 categories (things get really interesting in some of the other categories, if you know what I mean). Our goal here is to come up with interesting topics/issues that people want to know more about. We want to expose the differences between how men and women view these issues, and in effect help us to learn more about the opposite sex.

It’s a constantly growing index, that will start out rather small but will grow over time. We’re hoping that our community of users will continue to suggest new topics and issues that they would like to see in our resource.

Speaking of which, if any of you have ideas for Topics or Issues that you would like to see in our resource we would love to hear them. Leave them in the comments section, or contact us directly.
