The biggest turn off about the opposite sex is a girl that doesn't stay sexually healthy. getting std tested regularly is important. getstdtested.com and stdtesting.com offer many resources for this

If they have no confidence.
If they have no confidence then please stay away.
or if you have too much confidence.
The same can be said for guys
how much of a turn off is it if he's too cocky or not confident enough?

I would say that bad teeth and breath are a big deal breaker for me. Usually, this goes hand in hand with smoking.
Then again. some of these things can be fixed more easily. However, something like a bad attitude (just overall) is a turn off no matter what she looks physically.

Sorry, I just can't deal with it. I've had so many guys take off their shirt proudly while I fight repulsion. Six packs make me want to vomit!
But I know I'm the minority of the minority of the minority here.

I notice little things in a girl, bad breath is a huge one, girls who don't dress appropriately for their size, who just wear skimpy clothes when they clearly should not.
Muffin tops, I really like an athletic body on a girl, and if she's got a muffin top hangin out, please just cover it up, I love womans bodies, but have respect for it!
And for some reason, shoulders, in my eyes my ex's body was perfect except her shoulders for some reason, she had a build of an athlete but she never really worked her upper back muscles and it caused her posture to kinda be slung over, and it made her shoulders awkward looking, when she wore a strapless dress it was very noticeable. And she knew it too, she would battle this by wearing sweaters all the time.
It never realyl bothered me tho, I was always fixed on her eyes and amazing legs haha.

I am immediately turned off by a guy who looks like he spends more time maintaining his appearance than I do. Complicated hairstyle? Muscles that clearly take many many hours in the gym to maintain? A tan from a tanning bed or a bottle? Totally not interested. I like to take care of my body, but if he's going to make me feel like a slacker for not doing my hair or faking a tan or spending time in the gym, I'm not interested in that relationship. I see men and women drooling over body builders and models all the time, and I just can't relate. Anyone who spends that much time focused on how they look is not compatible with me.

I've never earned my "red wings" and there's a good reason for it. I just don't find a woman's menstrual cycle sexy. I'm not really a fan of vaginal bleeding during intercourse, so if I see that then that's like kryptonite for Superman or the color Yellow for the freakin' Green Lantern, kids.

Negative self talk.
I have no time for someone who is unable to see there own attractiveness especially if they insist on describing in great detail how unattractive they are.

Did I seriously not answer this question yet? Holy crap, I've read this thread over and over again.
Okay, so the opposite sex? Screw that, the thing that bugs me about guys is jealousy. I'm pansexual, I have friends, and most of them have a gender, so stop being so effing paranoid and just trust that I won't do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. It's an insult to think that I would just go around hurting you because of my sexual orientation. BS, get over it.
Girls - why do you kiss me and then not want to date me?!? I don't get you! (btw, it's a complete myth that there is better communication between same sex partners - there isn't, all relationships are messed up, just so you know). I mean, if you like me as a friend, fine, we'll be friends, just be clear that that's your limit. If you want more than friends, great, I will be there with bells on, but please don't leave me in this space in between. I can't stand it. I can deal with an answer, whether it's yes or no, just make up your mind which one it is!

Ignorance. Hands down.
And if we're just talking first impressions? Showing off your material goods and/or talking about how much money you make and all the people you know.

The way they walk, if it's cocky or they walk around like they're the ****. It bugs me so much. Also, like the other girls said, personal hygeine, whether it's their breath, body odor, if their teeth are icky. And smokers. I refuse to date a smoker. I like guys that take care of themselves and take pride in how they look/smell.

Having a cell phone permanently grafted to their body.
As nice as it is to stay in touch with your friends I can't stand people who pay more attention to their phone than they do to the people they are with.

Women of all ages seem to be very flighty. Sometimes this manifests as self-centered, or uncaring. Many women are very self-absorbed. I try to keep my distance from that sort of woman.

originality. if a girl is all pop-culture and designer labels i won't even introduce myself. i like girls that are different and unique... geeky chicks are cute and always interesting. i like a girl that is weird enough like me... though there is too weird.

smoking is fucking grossnastyness, but it's in NO COMPARISON to the bad hygiene. Seriously. Bad hygiene, the minute I see it or smell it, it's to the friend zone for ya.

I'd have to say that when i first see a guy with horrible posture, i'm definitely turned off.
Standing up straight brings an aura of confidence to a person. It shows their power and dominance. I myself try to stand tall and carry myself strongly because i know that visually your eye is drawn to the shape of the opposite sex.

Waxed chests. Waxed anything really. If a guy has less body hair than I do, there's a problem. I'm a huge fan of big, hairy guys myself, and don't really understand the whole hairless trend. I understand trimming to keep things from getting out of control, especially the bush and back (the former because no one likes strays during oral, and the latter because hugging someone that feels coated in steel wool is no fun). Also, unkempt feet. It takes so little time to trim toenails and throw on some lotion. Hell, if a guy gets a pedicure every once in awhile, that's fine by me. But scraggy nails and cracked heels are a no.

I'd have to agree with some of the previous answer, bad breath, bad teeth, bad hygiene....all BIG turn offs. One other thing that can really turn me off about a guy is his scent (this can also be a turn on). A guy that smells like B.O. or some awful cologne that he's drenched himself in, is the worst.
